5th Eco-Products International Fair (EPIF) at MOA

After successfully holding it in Malaysia in 2004, Singapore in 2006,
Thailand in 2007, and Vietnam in 2008, the 5th Eco-Products
International Fair (EPIF) will be held in the Philippines on 19-22
March 2009 at the SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay
City.

EPIF is one of the largest international environmental exhibitions in
Asia which:

1) showcases the most advanced environment- friendly technologies,
products, and services that enhance sustainable productivity and
competitiveness;

2) provides international and local industry players with a marketing
platform for exploring business collaboration and accelerating eco-
awareness and expansion of green markets in the Philippines and
abroad;

3) provides an excellent opportunity to educate and engage the general
public for the establishment of a sustainable society by promoting
public awareness of environmentally friendly products and services;
and

4) provides an opportunity to showcase our country's industrial and
indigenous eco-products and services.

EPIF is organized by the Asian Productivity Organization (APO), a
regional inter-governmental productivity think-tank, catalyst,
regional adviser, institution builder, and clearinghouse organization
with 20-member countries, with its local National Productivity
Organization (NPO) in the host country and a private-sector
counterpart as local co-organizers. As the NPO of APO in the
Philippines, the Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP) is the
co-organizer of the 5th EPIF 2009, together with the Philippine
Business for the Environment (PBE), as its private sector counterpart.

In this regard, we would like to invite you to come and visit EPIF
2009 where our very own indigenous environment- friendly products will
be showcased to the rest of the world. ADMISSION IS FREE. Attached
