UAP doc: Schematic Design Phase Completion = 15% of Conpensation. It's residential so 10% is the compensation.
P10M x .1 = 1M
1M x .15 = P150k
Downpayment = 50K
P150k - P50K= P100k -should be the answer
that computation that i did was this:
ReplyDelete1,000,000 - 50,000 (of the advance downpayment) = 95,000 x 15% (the schematic design phase completion) = 142,500. more or less 150,000.
I think for some the word "bill" could be misleading. 150t is due the architect at the end of the schematic design phase but he can only collect 100t more due to the 50t paid at the contract signing.

I think the question should be.. "Which is an ETHICAL...."
the architect shall NOT make guarantees to an estimate because of its conditional character. refer to the code of ethics.

Upon signing of agreement is 5%, which 50,000 (this is the downpayment,)
Upon completion of Contract Document Phase is 15% which is 150,000.
Answer is C.
5%= 50k

15% remaining = 150k
kung e total mo yan lahat more than 1M yan, kaya ang answer sa Q9) is 100,000 coz the total amount equivalent to 15% should be received by the architect upon completion of schematic design hindi another 15% of 1M kasi kng e total mo per stages susobra na yan ng 1M
ang tamang answer po talaga jan ay P100,000.00 kasi dapat ibabawas na ang past payments made.
ReplyDelete5 percent upon signing of agreemnt which is 50k,..10m X 10 percnt= 1m,..5 percent is 5ok,..schematic 15 percent so (a sum equal to 15 percnt of the basic fee) 50 + 100k=150k=15 percnt
