PRC BOA provided a clarification on the two-years diversified experience.
"Please note that only Filipino citizens who are B.S. Architecture graduates of October 2007 or earlier are qualified for the June 2009 LEA. The diversified experience in architecture (DEA) to be credited by the PRC (while examinee is enrolled) only starts from 24 December 2008 (and not sooner). For Filipino graduates of foreign architectural or design schools, a B.S. degree and a CHED equivalency certification are required. "

ReplyDeleteUnder Resolution 09, s. 2008 under sec 13 regarding the DT Form 001, it was stated that the Dean’s / Head’s signature box shall be duly marked as optional before the issuance of the Accomplished Diversified Training to the prospective examinee by the IAPOA.
I just need to clarify 1) the box at DT form 001 which to be filled up by the Dean or Dept Head is no longer required by the PRC? I graduated 2004 (PUP) and has more than 2 years of diversified experience, so does it mean that I no longer needed to ask my Dean to sign my DT form 001?
2) According to the statement, the Dean’s / Head’s signature box shall be duly marked as optional before the issuance of the Accomplished Diversified Training to the prospective examinee by the IAPOA - I got my logbook June 2007, do I need to get another one with the marked from IAPOA? (Because it was stated that it shall be duly marked as optional before the issuance to the examinee by the IAPOA)

Well, yes, the signature of the dean is not anymore required since last year.
ReplyDelete(I couldn't understand your second question - do you mean you have already a filled up form wherein there is no marked optional in the deans' box?)I guess if you have already a form, then you don't need to get another one because the optional mark at the form was just an additional info. All the other requirements are still the same.

kasi ang start ng counting ng work while studying is december 2008
so kung nag graduate ka ng march 2009, pwede na i-consider ang work mo from dec 24 2008 up to the date of your graduation plus other work experience after your graduation na magtotal na 3840 hours ba un or 2 years total experience. pag na complete mo na un two years total pwedeng pwede ka ng kumuha.
the mentor should be an IAPOA member. thats the only requirement

My question is am i qualified to take the exams if im just 1.5 yrs from graduation but my total hours of exp. is already 3840 from to overtimes and holidays. Are overtime and holidays are credited to the diversified experience. Im planning to take the jan exams. Thank you

Hello sir. Iam graduated march 2010, iam working with the company since march 2009 in related field (part time). Pwede ko po bang ilagay sa logbook ko yung expirience ko nung 2009? ReplyDeleteHi Sir I'm Tin..I graduated last October 2007 and I started working after a month..I have work for several company..my problem is I haven't got the chance to get a logbook earlier so I can have each of my mentor to sign with it...but I do have copies of my time cards for each company I've worked with...I'm planning and hoping to take the licensure exam this coming June of 2012..would it be ok if I will just let my mentor now to sign for everything in my logbook?..I would just present to him my time cards and even payslip..hope you could help me out and answer some of my queries ...thanks

ReplyDeleteIs pre-board still req`d?... i will be taking the exam this jan 2013, and i have this, you could say, problem about this issue about pre-board. The chair of TIP Manila is requiring us (examiners for JAN 2013 LEA) to take and pass the pre-board, if we fail, he will not sign our clearance form that is needed to release our TOR (Transcript of Records), essentially he was telling us that if we fail his pre-board, we should take the board on JUNE.
My question is, is it legal?, from what i heard, pre-board is not required anymore even the signature of the Architecture chair of the graduate`s school is not needed in the logbook anymore. Furthermore, the only one who can tell us that we cant take the LEA is the PRC/PRBOA right?.
