The Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) are pleased to announce an important week of meetings and consultations on climate change and clean energy during 15-19 June 2009.
Two back-to-back events will take place at ADB Headquarters in Manila:
* High-Level Dialogue on Climate Change in Asia Pacific to convene climate change policy leaders to discuss the path forward for the Asia Pacific region.
* The 4th Asia Clean Energy Forum 2009 to promote best practices in policy and finance and seek to catalyze actions that respond to the region's climate and energy security challenges.
It is expected that the week's events will draw more than 700 participants, including leading policymakers and regulators, public and private decision-makers, finance professionals, clean energy project developers, civil society members and advocates, and researchers and academics in the area of clean energy technologies and programs.
Online registration will be available after February 13, 2009.
