UAP is the IAPOA

    1

The United Architects of the Philippines (UAP) is the duly accredited IAPOA (Integrated and Accredited Professional Organization of Architects) by the PRC.

This presentation was prepared by the Commission on Professional Practice under Ar. Peach Buencamino, uap, so that UAP members will be enlightened on how UAP became the IAPOA, why dues are to be paid, why should one be a member of a UAP chapter and why the UAP membership certificate is being required by the PRC in the renewal of PRC IDs.

    1. (Slide no.7) “that the three organizations shall continue to function until such time that all legal requirements shall have been met and resolved by all parties concerned not later than June 31, 1974.”

    2. (Slide no.12) “Uap was accredited by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) thru the Professional regulatory Board of Architecture (PRBoA) as the Integrated and Accredited Professional Organizaiton of Architects in reference to Section 40 of RA 9266.”

    3. “Membership in the integrated and accredited professional organization of architects shall not be a bar to membership in other associations of architects.”

    4. “An architect duly registered with the Board shall automatically become a member of the integrated and accredited professional organization of architects….”

    5. (Slide no.21) “the professional regulation commission thru the professional regulatory board of Architecture required registered and licensed architects to submit their valid certificates of UAP membership and official payment receipts for annual/lifetime membership dues as a prerequisite for issuance of certificates of registration and professional identification cards as architect or for renewal of the foregoing cards.”
